Hydroforming design strategy

Development of a design strategy for hydroforming parts with secondary forming elements (Completed)

In the framework of the ReCIMP project a design strategy for Hydroforming of parts with secondary forming elements is developed. The main objective is to reduce the abundance of necessary design iterations between design and production stages for the production of a hydroforming based part. The statistical design of experiments are combined with FEM simulations for the generation of effecient designer check sheets. This will lead to the reduction of unnecessary design iterations between the designer and the process simulation.
